On behalf of the Organizing Committee, it is our pleasure to present this joint meeting. It combines the 6th Annual Scientific Meeting of the Obstetrical and Gynaecological Society of Hong Kong and the Ovarian Club VII Meeting.
It is the aim of the Obstetrical and Gynaecological Society of Hong Kong to hold an Annual Scientific Meeting to discuss the most pertinent clinical management in different areas in Obstetrics, Midwifery and Gynaecology. Topics are carefully selected each year with inclusion of cutting-edge scientific technologies and their clinical applications. We hope the information presented will be of great relevance to the audience in their daily clinical practice.
On the other hand, the ‘Ovarian Club’ meeting is a themed conference now in its seventh version. It provides an opportunity for international experts in the field of Reproductive Medicine to share and debate the state-of-art management issues. The 2016 theme is “Harvesting the ovary – from simple IVF to a New Horizon closer than you Imagine”. The program this year will lead you through basic science regarding the genetics and the control of folliculogenese, then clinical IVF with concentration more on the management in the aged oocytes especially mitochandria and energy issues, before ending in visionary aspects of what will be coming soon.
With joint efforts from both parties, we are fortunate to have a collection of known and respected experts in the relevant fields. It will definitely be a conference where you can update and upgrade your knowledge, and to open your mind to the future techniques and treatments just around the corner.
Of course, we would also wish you a very happy stay in Hong Kong, a bustling and vibrant city which has always something exciting to offer you.
